TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND
RECORDATION OF HIRSCHDALE LIENS
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has installed a new water
system for the community of Hirschdale; and
WHEREAS, property owners within the community of Hirschdale who will be
served by the water system have each been assessed a portion of the cost of
the installation of the water system; and
WHEREAS, those property owners who elect to pay their assessment over time
rather than at the time of their application have agreed that a lien may be
recorded against their property in the community of Hirschdale in order to
assure that the assessment will be paid at a future date; and
WHEREAS, the Nevada County Recorder's Office requires that the Board
authorize the acceptance and recordation of documents by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District that it hereby authorizes the acceptance of
any properly executed liens entitled, "Lien - Hirschdale" and authorizes the
recording of such liens with the Nevada County Recorder. It is the
f "District's intent that this resolution shall authorize the acceptance and
recording of all such liens, and that a separate resolution for each
individual lien shall not be necessary. District staff is hereby authorized
and directed to forward any such properly executed liens to the Nevada County
Recorder's Office for recordation, together with a copy of this resolution.
FURTHER, upon completion of the formal assessment proceedings, this
resolution shall automatically rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Truckee Donner Public Utility District duly called and held in said District
on the 7th day of August, 1989 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Aguera, Corbett, Sutton, White and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
