RESOLUTION (To AccompanyApplication and Agreement) widMREAS, a maJority of the eligible employees for whoa coverage is reques ted by theTruckee Fuh.1ic Ut i1:i t-r Jistri( thereinafter designated as (Name of the Public Agency) "Public Agency", at an election or elections, voted in favor of the_ Public Agency making a formal application to the State Director of Finance, hereinafter desigW nated as the State, for inclusion of the said eligible employees of said Public Agency in an agreement between the State and the Federal Security Administrator for the coverage of such eligible employees under the insurance system established by Title II of the Federal Social Security Act, as amended and implemented by Chapter 46, Statutes of 1950, 3rd Extra Session; and WH]r^.M—AS, the Public Agency desires to file such an application with the State and to enter into an agreement with the State containing terms and conditions whereby the State will take the necessary steps to extend to such eligible employees coverage under the said insurance system on behalf of the Public Agency; and W$EIVAS, a form of application and agreement between the State and the Public Agency containing the terms and conditions for the Inclusion by the State of the said eligible employees under the coverage of said insurance system on behalf of the Public Agency has been submitted to this body for consideration and action; NOW, RE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Agency execute the afore said application and agreement and submit the some to the State for acceptance and that the State be, and it is hereby, requested to include all said eligible employees of the Public Agency in an agreement between the State and the Federal Security Administrator for the coverage of said employees under the insurance system established by Title II of the Federal Social Security Act, as amended or as may hereafter be amended; and BE IT FURTHER R c%MVED, that for the purpose of said application and agreement, (Name) (Title) r u c' L. Upon roll call the following directors were noted present: H T Langille C R Heller S L Loynd Also present were Mr. Shock, 'engineer of the USF3 and Nelson Stone, Assistant District Ranger of the Ta'lioe Forest, who brought up the matter of water service to the Truckee Hanger Station. lifter soave considerable discussion it was a-7reed that 'ivilanager :,_s'&aunds would ascertain the cost of installing a pump and line fro-m the D-strict's tovm reservoir to the Forest Service Reservoir with the necessary controls, and would submit revised water rates which might be placed in -,ffect due to the increased cost of transrlission and operation. These figures WOuld be 3U`Xu.*tted to the Forest Service for further consideration. Mr. Shock and "Lr. Stone then left the !neeting. 1,.r. Joe Sanders then entered the meeting and brought up the matter of his 11 application to the State Utilities Commission to abandon his system and asked the 3oc-..rd to consider purchasing this system at a cost of $3000.00. After some discussion 1,1r. Sanders was advised that the Board would refer the matter to their attorneys and gret their opinion on the legal aspects before giving it further consideration. 11r. Erickson of the Inter -County Title Co., 1Ievada City, relative to the sale of a lot on Hirrhway 40 to John J. Lodato., also letter of Oct. 31 from Mr. Erickson to John J. Lodato conerning the same. The following resolution was presented to the Board and u-oon motion made and unanimously carried was passed and accepted A. by the Board. RLSOLUTION NO., Jn The Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District do hereby H&SOLWI that the real property described in that certain deed made the 6th day of October 1954 by and between The Truckee Public Utility District and John J. Lodato and Blanche A. All relative to the establishment of a District Retirement System, Further consideration of this matter was left to the gather *1' 4g, of more information which was to be submitted by 1.re Paul 114L e Chamberlain. 4 co;:uaunication war read under date of Oct 11th from Paul He Ch,n.-ibe,.-lain to the District relative to a quit claim deed which had been discussed -by I'Ir. Polk of the Division of Highways with the Board at its meeting of Sept 28th. In view of the facts set forth in this corlmunication it was a.7reed by tf-le Board that no further action would be taken, in the matter. A statement was read under date of Sept 14 from T L Chamberlain relative to the cost aad expense of services rendered to the District in connection with the annexation and develop, -"-lent of water in the Donner Lake area. The sum total 'W' ."'382.40 and it was noted that this sum had been covered by the retainer fees. The 1--lanan,7,er reported that he had asked for this statement so as to be able to allocate this expense to the Donner Lake area. A communication was read under date of Sept 29 from, the District to Paul Rausch relative to a balance owing the District of $269.60. Chairman Loynd reported that 1%:re Rausch had contacted him and had advised that he would I be in a position to clear up this bill in full as soon as he sold some rllogs which he expected to do in the near future, No further business appearing., Board adjourned.
