for such services, and,
WHEREAS: The welfare of the Public depends upon 0 ]LOy and
efficient work and service of oil employed or as soesated

and best efforts to protect the properties of- the
District and it"s service to the Public and to cooperate
in promoting amd advancing the welfare of the District
and in preserving the continuity of it's services to
the Public at all tamest
NW. THERBFORE 8E IT RESOLVED, that for the purposes of pro ting
harmony and efficiency among tote eMP10y00A of the Dis-
trict, the Board of D ectOrs proposoo agca* and hereta
set forth the following:
CONDIT IONS OF RMI
(Effective April le -1966)
(a) Employees shall be classified an either regular
or casual (temporary) .
(b) A regular s layee is one w!ho has oomplsted eix
months of continuous service with the District*
(c) A casual (temporary) empla�ee is one fired for
occasion al or •oasonal war or for a I itod tams.
(d) New e loysss bird for a 01,saaifictatioA
shall be placed upon a si c` months probationary
period, at the end of which time# if (a)he has
demonstrated his ability and qualifications there-
fore, (s)he shall be given a definite classification
as hereinafter sit forth,

or af ter 5 100 P.M. on any regular work day shall be
paid overtime.
(c) An e loyee required to perfo work an a recognized
holiday or after 500 P.m. Friday and before 8#00
A.X. Monday shall be paid overt .
(d) Overt shall be computed to th* no eat quarter
hour*
(e) Any employe* called outside of ssqular aro boors
shall be allowed not lees than two hours pay at
the overtime ruts.

of transportation for District business shall be
reimburaed at the rates of 120 per wile t or $1.00
per day the District may elect.
Employee who ,hall report for work on r+ ulsr work days

be split only once if not taken on consecutive
days,
(a) Any employe* who shall leave the district before
taking his regular scheduled vacation, ahs,11 be

by his vacation period,
(f) vacations may be scheduled at any time from the
first of the ye to the end of tbe ye by mutual
agreement of District and en►plcyee.

by ascertaining unsafe working conditions and at least

_T,JNION ACTIVITY
The District will not discriminate against an o loyee because of
his membership in a tTnion, and employeae are expected not to
discriminates against any e loyee because of his non- filiation

(a) Employees, after one year of cont us service, shall
be entitled to f ive days of sick leave with pay.
(b) Employees, after two years of continuaue service, shall
be entitled to ten days sick leave with pay.
(c) After three years of continual employyment, an e loyee
shall be entitled to accrue sick leave up to n maximum
of thirty days. The -District may require satisfactory
evidence of an employee's sickness or dis ility which
shall be either certified by a doctor's verification or '
or other substantial proof. It it is found that the
employee is taking advantage of sick leave provisions,
said employee shall forfeit all nick leave &ecvu�t l atod
UP to date. {
(d) Nothing in the foregoing articles all be terpreted
to entitle the employee to sick leave while on vacation, E

employment, or while receiving ustrial coerpeneation.

Two days paid time off for attending funerals of immediate
family members only.
(a) If District requires an employee to perform work for
one and one-halaE hours or more beyond regular work
hours, it shall provide h with a meal approximately
one and one-half hours after regular quitting time,
and with meals at tery a thereafter of approximately
four hours, but not more than five hours, for as long
as he continues such work.
