HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1967-03 - Board TRUCKEE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT RESpLUTION #6703 BE IT RESOLVED: By the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District as follows: 1 . That Rules and Regulations for Electric Service for RULE X, Paragraph 2. shall no longer be in effect and shall be re- v ised as follows: A building, a portion of a building, a group of buildings, or an automobile trailer camp site containing more than one premise will receive service through a single point of de- livery if the District determines that it is not reasonable or feasible to serve each premise directly. In such instances, the operator of the building, portion of building, or group of build ings may furnish electric service to the individual premises therein, and the cost of such service may be included in the rent for such premises, provided that no separate charge is made therefor. Beacuse of extreme variations which mayoccur in energy consumption among tenant of automobile trailer camp sites, and because of the transient nature of such tenant, operators of such camp sites who re- ceive through a single point of delivery and include electric service in the facilities furnished to their tenants may employ metering equipment as a means of retroactively adjust- ing rental charges for such extreme variations, provided that the rate to be charged to the tenants are approved by theD istrict. Such rates will be calculated on the immediate past year Kwhr consumption and w111 give the trailer camp owner sufficient margin to provide for over-head,reading of meters and collections . The operator must agree to keep posted in his office and in the service room of the camp a ` copy of the rates being charged his tenants. Enforcement: Customers who are receiving service in conflict with this rule and who fail to bring themselves into conformity within a reasonable time after receiving written notice from the District shall have their service discontinued. 2. That Rules and Regulations for Electric Service for RULE XV Paragraph 3 . (a) shall no longer be in effect and shall be revised as follows: The District will extend its single phase distribution lines up to a distance of 500 f t. per applicant at no cost to the applicant if applicant will guarantee to pay a minimum monthly charge of five dollars $5.00) for a period of sixty (60) consecutive months. The total lenght of free footage for an extension will be determined by the number of applicants to be served by the extension at the rate of 500 f t. , per applicant, {See Section (b) (1) ) . . - 3 . The Rules and Regulations for Electric Service for RULE XV, Paragraph 3 . (b) shall no longer be in ef fect and shall be revised as follows: In those caste. when an extension of more than 500 ft. per applicant is necessary in order to extend service to the applicant (s) , the guaranteed monthly minimum for a period of five years will be increased at the rate of three cent ($ .03) per foot of 'line required in excess of 500 f t. per applicant.
