HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1970-02 - Board PROSSER HEIGHTS UNIT #4
The developers of Prosser Lake. Heights Unit #4 want to install a tank
in a certain area which Manger pointed out on diagram, but are requesting
to postpone installation to a later date. In the interim period pumps
of sufficient size will provide fire flow. The fire Marshall is in
agreement with this as long as the installation does not go beyond a
reasonable time. It is manager's recommendation to accept this proposal
on the condition that the water tank is installed by July lst, 1971.
The reason for this demand is if homes are built this year, the pumps
will have to operate most of the time to assure fire flow. If no
homes are built this year., no problem arises except for keeping electric
heaters on during the winter months. Lengthly discussion ensued-
Manager also explained that Trimont is willing to run pipe to the Gardai
and Fox pumps. Discussion continued-
It was the Board's decision that Manager contact Mr. Chamberlain and
get his Opinion on a performance bond, Director Rose moved that we
accept the proposal- by Prosser Lake Heights Unit #4 to install two pumps
