I. Joe :ganders then entered the meeting and brought up the matter of his
application to the State Utilities Comission to abandon his system and asked
the 3oc-..rd to consider purchasing this system at a cost of $3000.00. After some
discussion I,Ir. Sanders was advised that the Board would refer the matter to

their attorneys and -,Tet their opinion on the legal aspects before giving it
further consideration. 1.'Ir. Sanders thanked the Board for their consideration

k letter was read under date of Oct 7, from the District to earl C. Erickson
oIP the Inter-County Title Co.., Nevada City, relative to the sale of a lot
on hirrhway 40 to John J. Lodato, also letter of Oct. 11 from Yx. Erickson
to Jolm J. Lodato conerning the same. The following resolution was presented
to the Bo andand u-
pon motion made and unanimously. carried was passed and accepted
by the Board.

The Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District do hereby'
R.&SOLVE that the real property described in that certain deed made the 6th day
of October 1954 by and between The Truckee Public Utility District and John J.
Lodato and Blanche A. Lodato, his wife, is not needed or necessary for the
present or future needs of the Truckee Public Utility District* and
BE IT FUIRTMR Rif;'z'30L7M that it is for the best interests of the Truckee
Public Utility District that the said d real property be sold upon the termn s and
cond.*-tions and slibject to certain restrictions and reservations set forth in the
said deed* and the president of the Board of Directors and the Seeretary of the
W.-strict are hereb-r authorized and directed in the name of the District to execute

of a District Retirement System. Further consideration of this matter
was left to the gatherin'r; of more information which was to be subm'tted
by 1 r. Paul 11. Chwnberlain.

Cn' a*e-I,-1ain to the DI. rast *.ct relative to a quit claim deed which had been
discussed by H'r. Polk of the Divis.ion of Highways •with the Board at its
meet-JLn?, of Sept 28th. In View of the facts set forth in this corrmunic ation
it was a-7reed by the Board that no further action would be taken,in the m'pwatter.
A statement was read under date of Sept 14 from T L Chamberl ain relative
to the cost &A expense of services rendered to the District in connection with
the &n�nexation and develop-.-.tient of water in the Donner Lake area. The SILM
total V382.40 and it was noted that this sum had been covered by the retainer
fees. The 1-,Lana.,-rer reported that he had asked for this statement so as to be
able to allocate this expense to the Donner Lake area.
A conmunacation was read under date of Sept 29 frog: the District to
Paul Rausch relative to a balance owing the Distri ct of $269.60. Chairman
Loynd reported that Al:r. Rausch had contacted him and had advised that he
would be in a nosition to clear up this bill in full as soon as he 'old
