Lewis, relinquishing certain restrictions., reser"w vat i o ns and rights in a deed dated the 5th day of March, 1953. The Board discussed the matter of the payment due from G E Lewis on a note covering property purchased from the District and the Manager was to advise Mr. Lewis that the note, with int erest thereon sh"" :32i.Mnns ruc ed before June 30th, should be paid on or The question of a firm of Auditors to audit the books for the District for the term end' In June 3Q', 19 56 was discussed and it was moved and carried that the firm of Harz7 M. Straine & Sons of Sacrament o be engaged to audit books for the current fiscal year. The Manager reported that he had -order ed some mat eri al and fixtures for a sprinkling system for the Tahoe Forest Hospital and the same 0 should be received sometime in the near future. A discussion took place relative •to the, extent o f land which would be involved in the new Zapressway. It was the concensus Of opinion that considerable thought should be given to the damaging effect that this new expressway would have upon the lands of the District, and the future plans therefore.
