By Pal' TRUCKEE-DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT r- ESTABLISHING NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR . ` ��,,� COMPENSATION OF BOARD MEMBERS, AND REVOKING ORDINANCE NO. 74-01 i. WHEREAS, Section 16002 of the Publ-ic Utilities Code, applicable to this District, permits an ordinance establishing compensation to be received by the Board of Directors thereof; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors now desire to establish new terms .and conditions for such compensation to its directors; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of TRUCKEE-DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, as follows ,,-,- Effective with the effective date of this ordinance, Ordinance No. 74-01, and any and all prior ordinances or amendments thereto establishing a rate of compensation for members of the � Board of Directors of the District, are hereby revoked and set 1 aside. 2. The duly elected, qualified, and acting members of the Board of Directors of the District shall be entitled to receive compensat:km pursuant to the following rules : a) Compensation is declared to be dependent upon attendance at meetings. b) In no event may compensation per member exceed one hundred dollars ($100- 00) per month and not more than fifty dollars ($50* 00) per meeting. c) To receive compensation for any given meeting, regular or special, a member must be in attendance a minimum of sixty percent (60%) of the regularly sfteduled meeting time. - d) In the event that more thdn two (2) meetings are held in any calendar month, the compensat4on receivable by any member shall be prorated by dividing the lttaximum monthly compensation ($100- 00) by the number of m-'fjtingsf the actual sum gage 1. �� ,g to be received in compensation shall then be payable at such rate to those members meeting the said attendance requirements, e) Compensation shall not be received for atte'ndande at committee meetings, 30 - This ordinance shall become effective on the 1st day of the month after the lapse of thirty {30) days from the date of adoption. The Clerk of the District shall immediately cause' a copy of. this ordinance to be published once in the local newspaper and copies shall be posted in at least thre'e (3) public places within the District. Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the TRUCKEE- DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held in the District on the day of ���,. � ._ 19_, by the following roll call vote..
