OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND RATIFYING CALL
FOR ARCHITECTURAL PROPOSALS - NEW DISTRICT COMPLEX
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to solicit proposals from
architects to perform services relating to the planning and design of a
new District complex; and
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of June 18, 1984, the Board of Dir-
ectors authorized the issuance of a call for proposals to be received by
the District by 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 13, 1984 for such architectural
services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District as follows:
1. That the request and form for proposals attached hereto
is hereby approved.
2. That the call for proposals for architectural services
is hereby ratified.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held in the Dis-
trict on the 2nd day of July_ - - 1984, by the f ollowing roll call
vote:
AYES: Cooley, Corbett and Duffy.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Hamilton and Maass.

Dear Prospective Bidder:
Notice is hereby given that the Truckee Donner Public Utility District is
accepting proposals from qualified architectural firms for preparation of
a preliminary study for design and construction of a building to house of-
fices, a warehouse and garage for the District*
Proposals are due by 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 13, 1984, at the TDPUD of-
fice, and should be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Proposal
for Architectural services."
The request and form of proposal have been attached for your review.

FOR NEW DISTRICT OFFICE, WAREHOUSE AND GARAGE
BACKGROUND
The Truckee Donner Public UtilityDi

licly owned agency operating under the author' California

established on May 9, 1927
under the provisions of the Public UtilityDistrict

California. The existing buildings are not- adequate ad

properly store larger items

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
To solve the problem of limited buildings •

The District will evaluate the proposals on the

SCOPE OF SERVICES
The preliminary study to be performed by the architectural firm is
as follows:
1 . Interview members of the Board of Directors and staff to determine
space needs for people, equipment and materials.
2.. Prepare a preliminary floor plan for informal discussion with the
Board of Directors and staff.
3. Prepare a proposed floor plan as a result of the informal discus-
sions.
4. Prepare a site plan and concept drawing of the building.
5. Prepare a cost estimate of completing the entire project.
