HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1984-21 - Board k � c y R RESOLUTION NO. 84 21 Y x OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ESTABLISHING DISTRICT POLICY REGARDING PRO- CEDURES FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE APPLICATIONS AND THE PROCESSING OF SAME WHEREAS, the public interest is to be served by a consistent, concise and understandable proceeding for processing electric service applications; and WOMB" WHEREAS, there is a specific need for a policy that cannot be misun- derstood by developers creating new projects within the Truckee Donner Public Utility District service area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District that the policy regarding procedures for elec- tric service applications as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto is here- by' approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the General Manager shall develop operation- al methods for staff use to implement the intent of this policy which shall be effective as of the date of adoption of this resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a regular r meeting held within said District on the 16th day of April , 1984, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Corbett, Duffy, Hamilton and Maass. District Responsibilities A -1- s >t Y i r PROJECT CONDITIONS In order. to provide electrical service as requested by. ,the appli- _ cant, it is necessary for the District' s existing facilities to be modified. The District will design and construct the modifications as out- lined under "Electrical System Modifications" according to its Rules and Regulations for Electrical Service. The District has full discretion to design, plan or modify the electrical system as necessary. The Applicant agrees to place a deposit with the District equal to the estimated construction, design and administrative costs. Further, the Applicant acknowledges that construction costs may exceed or be less than shown. The Applicant will be billed or refunded accordingly. If billed, the Applicant will pay the excess costs within 30 days. Prior to the commencement of construction, the Applicant will provide to the District appropriate easements and right-of-ways for access to the electrical facilities, as designated by the District. The Applicant acknowledges that it may be necessary for him/her to obtain easements and/or permits from adjacent property owners or other parties for the project. The Applicant acknowledges that upon completion of construction, the District will own and maintain the electrical distribution system as constructed. CONSTRUCTION The Applicant will pay all costs associated with the modifications of the electrical distribution system as outlined under "Electrical System Modifications, " to include the actual costs of materials, ' labor and overhead, and administrative and design costs.
