OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC' UTILITY DISTRICT
AMENDING POLICY (RESOLUTION NO. 82351
AND CUSTOMER RULES AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING
TO BILLING)
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility
District has recommended a change in the existing billing procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors as follows:
1. That the Customer Rules and Regulations pertaining to
billing be amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" attach-
ed hereto, effective with the March billing cycle.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District at a} regular meeting thereof duly called and held
within said District on the Sth day of February �. 198 by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Cooley, Corbett and Duffy.
NOES: Hamilton and Maass.
ABSENT: None.

POLICY ITEM: BILLING

Truckee Donner Public Utility District
POLICY STATEMENT
1. Bills will be rendered monthly and shall be paid at the District office
or at other locations designated by the District.
2. Failure to receive bill will not release customer from payment obli-
gation.

3. The due date for payment of bill will be 19 days of ter the day the
bill is mailed to the customer.

4. Should the due date of bill fall on a Saturday, Sunday or recognized
holiday, the business day next following the due date will be held as
a day of grace for delivery of payment.
5. If, at the time of billing, a customer has a previous balance, a late
payment charge will be charged at the rate of 18% per annum.
6. A collection fee will be charged for each trip the District makes in
an attempt to collect past due amounts from the customer.
7. A bad check charge of five dollars ($5.O0) will be made to customer
for each check returned for insufficient funds*
8. For customers with hardship or other special extenuating circumstances,
special financial counseling is available. when requested by customer,
the 'District may arrange for customer to pay bill in installments.
9. The District may install a power limiting device in some instances.
