HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1982-32 - Board RE SOL UT ION NO 8 2 3 2 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON POLES WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has determined the need to purchase poles in various lengths for the District's electrical distribution system; and WHEREAS, specifications for said poles have been attached hereto as Exhibit "A" ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District does hereby approve the spec.if ica- Cions described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the P-resident of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District is hereby directed to issue ications as described in Exhibit "A", a call for bids based on the speciL_-f Auquc_-;+,_-_ 13, and that the date and time established for the bid opening is 1982, at 4:00 P.M. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held in the District on the 19th day of J-Uly 1982, by the follow- ing roll call vote: AYES : Corbett, Huber, Kuttel,, VanLandingh(-ArrLi and Ma.ass. Prices are to be quoted F.O.B. , Truckee, shipped by truck, and delivered at the earliest possible date after order. The poles will be ordered as needed over the next several months. Must be pressure treated per REA Specification DT--5C. The poles are to be made of Douglas Fir or equivalent wood, and treated with pentachloraphenol or waterborne preservatives as prescribed .in the c-xbove REA specification. The poles are to be inspected per REA Specification DT--5C. Prices are to be quoted F.O.B. Truckee, shipped by truck, and delivered at the earliest possible date after order.
