HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1984-06 - Board 53 ORDINANCE NO* 84 06 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ESTABLISHING WATER RATES BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: Effective with the effective date of this Ordinance, all portions of prior Ordinances and/or Resolutions that are inconsistent with the provi- sions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the Domestic Water Rates for single family homes, individual condominium units, and townhouse units shall relate to the pressure zone in which said service is located. The Domestic Flat Rate Base for all zones shall be the fixed monthly rate of $12.42. The appropriate zonal pumping costs shall be added to the base monthly rate yielding the ap- propriate flat zonal rates as follows: Zone 1 $13.80 Zone 2 15901 Zone 3 15*58 Zone 4 16*22 Zone 5 16,54 Zone 6 16.84 Zone 7 18*23 Zone 8 19e06 Zone 9 19,37 Zone 10 21.33 Zone 11 23, 17 BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the following Commercial Rates shall apply to all duplex and other multiple dwelling units, trailer parks, and other com- mercial establishments: Gallons/Month Size Service Rate Allowance 3/411 $11.02 6,000 111 14. 16 119000 1 14 18.09 179000 1 22*17 24lo000 211 32,65 432000 3'1 58*52 96,000 411 86,38 1712000 Water used in any month above the allowance will be charged as follows: 0 to 16,000 gallons 781�/thousand 16,000 - 56,000 gallons 630thousand 56,000 - 96,000 gallons 47(,%/thousand 96,000 and above 404�/thousand The following Zone Charge per 1,000 gallons shall be added for al.1 water used: 1 * 158 2 *289 3 .361 4 *434 5 469 6 .506 7 .666 8 *759 9 .796 10 1*014 11 1,228 Until meters are -installed, the Commercial Flat Rate shall be based on the foregoing allowance, and the Zone Charge shall be levied against the maximum number of gallons in said allowance,, r 55 k • i This ordinance shall become effective with the billing cycle commencing in January , 1985. The Clerk of the District shall immediately cause a copy of this Ordinance to be published in at least three public places within the District. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a meeting thereof duly called and held in the District on the 5th day of November , 1984, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Corbett, Duffy, Hamilton and Maass.
