RESOLUTION NO, 8453
OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
ADOPTING ELECTRIC RULE NO. 7
- POLICY REGARDING TEMPORARY SERVICE -
WHEREAS, the public interest is to be served by the implementation of
consistent, concise, and understandable electric policies and procedures;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined the need to update
Electric Rule No. 7 pertaining to temporary service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District as follows:
1. Electric Rule No. 7 as adopted on May 21, 1984 by Resolution
No. 8430 is hereby rescinded.
2. Electric Rule No. 7, a copy of which is attached hereto, is
hereby adopted effective 30 days from this date,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Pub-
lic Utility District at a regular meeting held within said District on the
4 th day of September 1984, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Cooley, Corbett, Duffy, Hamilton and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.

POLICY STATEMENT
7. 1 The District will supply temporary service to customers under the follow-
ing conditions:
A) Where temporary service is not intended to transfer to that of a
permanent status, the applicant will be required to pay to the
District in advance, the estimated cost of installing and remov-
ing the facilities required, as determined by the District.
The applicant shall be required to place a deposit in accordance
with the District's rules and regulations.
B) Where temporary service is for the purpose of construction and the
service will ultimately transfer to permanent single phase, the
customer shall be required to pay applicable connection and facil-
ities fees for permanent service.
C) Where temporary service is for the purpose of construction and the
service will ultimately transfer to permanent three phase, the cus-
tomer shall be required to pay applicable connection and facilities
fees for temporary service. In order to establish permanent service,
the customer will be required to pay the actual cost for the perman-
ent service connection and f aciliteis fees as established by the Dis-
trict.
