RESOLUTION NO. 83 48
OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
IMP'LEMENTING AND FIXING ELECTRIC AND WATER
STANDBY CHARGES PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 7 501
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR '198 3 - 1984
WHEREAS,, on February 18, 1975, the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Ut it ity District duly adopted Ordinance Noe 7 501 f ixing a lecew
tr is and water standby charges on lands within the District boundaries, and
providing a means for collection thereof; and
WHEREASt on August 16, 1982, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution
No. 8240 amending Ordinance 7501 to include Placer as well as Nevada County;
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 7501 prescribes that implementation of the actual
charges shall be made by Resolution of the Board of Directors for each fiscal
year;
NOWp THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District as follows:
1. The electric standby charge for the fiscal year 1983 -
1984 shall be the sum of $20e00 for any parcel consist-
ing of one acre or more, and the sum of $10*00 for any
parcel of less than one acre.
2. The water standby charge for the fiscal year 1983 - 1984
shall be the sum of $10.00 for any parcel consisting of
one acre or more, and the sum of $5.00 for any parcel of
less than one acre.
3. The District shall determine the lands to be affected
thereby for the current f iscal year and the charges to
._ be assessed, levied and collected on the lands and par-
cels, and upon the completion thereof a subsequent
Re so 1 ut ion shall be approved fixing and placing the
electrical and water standby charges on the District tax
roll for collection by the County of Placer and by the
County of Nevada*
4. The Clerk of the District is hereby directed to forward
certified copies of this Resolution to the Board of Super-
visor s and the County Auditor of the County of Placer, and
the Board of Supervisors and the County Auditor of the
County of Nevada*
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Bwwd of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District at a meeting h*ld within the District on the day of
AugMs t , 1983, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Hamilton, Kuttel, Maass, VanLandingham and Corbett.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
