HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1983-22 - Board RESOLUTION NO. 8323 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AUTHORIZING TRANSFER FROM THE WATER DEPARTMENT TO THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, in April of 1980, the Board of Directors was presented with documentation supporting interdepartmental transfers through December 31 , 1979 , and, at that time, pass- ed Resolution No. 8025 which declared that all debts owed by the Water Department to the Electric Department had been sat- isfied; and k WHEREAS, staff findings from that time through the rec- ords of December 31 , 1981 , show that the Water Department owes $57 , 383- 34 to the Electric Department; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 110 That , based on the findings of staff, the Board of Directors hereby authorizes the repayment of debts owed by the Water Department to the Electric Department in the amount of $57 ,383 . 34 . 2. Said transfer shall be made from the Water Depart- ment Revenue Fund to the Electric Department General Funds The detailed support for this transaction will be maintained in the District records as an attachment to the transaction. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a meeting duly called and held within the District on the 18th day of April 1983 , by the following roll call vote.* AYES: Kuttel, Maass, VanLandingham and Corbett. Craig,, Deputy ,district Clerk Wawa" RESOLUTION NO. 83 22 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT FINDING THAT THE VILLAGE AT HIRSCHDALE ANNEXATION WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the staff of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has conducted an environmental impact assessment of the proposed Village at Hirschdale annexation in accordance with the District's Guidelines, im- plementing the CEQA of 1970; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors, in open session, discussed the staff assessment and invited public comment; NOWj, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District that the proposed Village at Hirsch- dale annexation is hereby found not to create a singnificant environmental impact, specifically in the following areas: 1. It will not have the .potential to degrade the quality of the environment. 2. It will not achieve short term, to the disadvantage of long term, environmental goals. 3. It will have no impact which is individually limited, but cumulatively considered. 4. It will not cause substantial adverse effects on human beings either directly or indirectly. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Negative Declaration be prepared and filed with -the Nevada County Clerk at the earliest opportunity.
