HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1982-06 - Board ORDINANCE NO. 82 OF THE TRUCK-EE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 8_112 AND ESTABLISHING NEW DIRECTOR COMPENSA."PION PROVISIONS BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: I 1. That any and all prior ordinances, amendments or clari-Eica- tions relating to the rate of compensation for members of the Board of Directors of said District shall be set aside and of no further force and effect commensurate with the date upon which this Ordinance becomes effective. 2. Each member shall receive compensation in the amount of $2,400 annually. Compensation shall be made monthly in the 4 amount of $200, and paLd on the last working day of the month. 3. No additional compensation shall be a.1lowed for attendance at special meetings, committee meetings, or any other District business except reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses in- cluding appearances at legal proceedings. 4. This Ordinance . shall be reviewed by the Board of Directors at the first meeting in t3(-_inuary of e(-ich year ---is t-_o the adequacy of the provisi,ons contained herein. Such review shall be sched- uled as a. public hear-JLng. The Clerk of the District shall cause this Ordinance to be duly posted and published as required by the laws of the State of California, said posting and publishing to be effective not less than one week before the expiration of thirty days from the date of adoption of this Ordinance. 6. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days after adoption.
