HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1983-52 - Board RESOLUTION NO. 83 52 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT DESIGNATING AUDITORS FOR THE 1983 TAX YEAR - WATER DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District desires to retain Arthur Andersen & Company to perform the examina- tion of the financial statements of the District's Water Department for. the MEOW year ending December 31, 1983; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Danner Public Utility District as follows: 1. Arthur Andersen & Company is hereby authorized to serve as independent public accountants for the performance of an examination of the financial statements of the Dis- trict's Water Department for "the year ending December 31, 1983. 2. The charges for Arthur Andersen & Company's services shall be made at their regular per diem rates plus out-of-pocket expenses, and shall not exceed $9,200. 3. The services provided by Arthur Andersen & Company shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (a) Examination of the balance sheet at December 31, 1983, and the related statements of net revenue and changes in financial position for the year then ended in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, including such tests of the accounting records and such other auditing pro- cedures as are necessary in order to express an ~� opinion of the financial statements. (b) Review and evaluation of the existing system of internal accounting control.
