CHANGING CS-2A AND GS-2_B COMMERCIAL 11_-1LEC1_A(__1RIC RATES
WHEREAS, as a result of its increased costs, the Board of Directors of
the Truckee Donner Public. Utility District has realized that it is essential
to increase its electric rates;
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District as follows:
1. Effective with the effective date of this Ordinance, the rate
provisions of Ordinance No. 8110 (,ind all other portions of prior
ordinances and/or resolutions which are inconsistent with the
provisions of this Ordilrl anue are hereby repecaled.
BE IT FURTHER ENACTED th(--It the following e..Lectricy rates shall be charged
to all large general service customers, being hereby established as Schedules
CAS-2A and GS-2B:
Applicability
To general service requirements within the District, including power
and lighting taken at one point of delivery with more than 30 kilo-
watts of demand.
Character of Servic,e.
Sixty-hertz alternating current. The District reserves the right to
specify the voltage and phase of service supplied under this schedule.
Monthly Rate
(a) Connected load, 600 kVa or less:
Demand charge: $6.00 per kW of billing deritand,
but not less than $180.00
Energy charge: 3.68� per kWh.
(b) Connected load, greater than 600 kVa:
Customer cha.rge. $225.00 per bill
Demand i.,--harge: $6.00 per kW of b-111ing demai-id,
but not less than $3,600-00
Energy charge: 3.68� per kWh.

(i) the current deinal-A charge;
(ii) 50% of the highest demand charge established
in tl-ie preceding eleven mon-IC-1-is.
Measured Derriand
The maximum rme-a-sured 15 minute- averzage kil.owatt load during the
billing period. If, at the discretion of the District, the cus-
tomer's usage is intermittent or highly fluctuating, then a
shorter time interval may be used.
Billing Demand
The greater of:
1. Current period's measured demand;

2. 50. of the highest billing demand establ -shed during

3. 50% of the conitract demand.
Primary Service Discount
If, at the discretion of the District, service :is supplied at
the primary voltage available, the demand (--...nd energy charges of
the applicable rate above shall be reduced by 2-1/20.
Primary Metering Discount
If, at the discretion of the District, service is in(-,�,.tered at the

Power f-`ac-tor Adjustmen-It
The District, at its discretion, may t1hle energy and demand
charges to correct for average power factors above or below 85%.
Such adjustments will be. made by increa,sing or decreasing the ell-
ergy and demand charges by 15% for each 1% or major fraction there-
of by which the average power factor greato-_r- or less than 85%
lagging.
Fuel Clause Adjustment

to Schedule FCA.

BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the fuel clause adjustment as adopted in
Ordinance No. 7702 on April 5, 1.977, shall here,--:After be added to and in-

This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days from the date of
adoption. The Clerk of the District shall immediately cause a copy of this
ordinance to be published once in the local newspaper and copies shall be
posted in at. least three public pla.c(--:,s within tl-lie District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Boc--'trd of Directors of the Truckee Donner P,ublic
Utility District at a meeting held within said District on the 28th day of Dec-
ember , 1981, by the following roll call vote:
AYES.- Corbett, 1luber, Kuttel.. Monson and Maass.
