Effective with the effective date of this Ordinance, the rate provisions of Ordinance No. 81.11 and all other por- tions of prior ordinances and/or resolutions which are in- consistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are here- by repealed. 2. The following electric rates shall. be charged -to gill sin-all general services commercial customers, such rates being established as Schedule GS-1: Energy Charge: $7.40 per month for the- f ir st 100 kwhrs, or less, and all kwhrs thereafter shall be billed at the rate of 6- 555� Per kwhr. 3. The monthly chEitrges for service shal-1 be increased or de- creased in acc-orchi.nce with t1ac, incre(-a'ses or decre�_-ises in the amount charged by the District 's wholes�-il_e supplier of power and energy due -to such supplier 's cost of fuel. The adjustment amount shall be applied to all. kilowatt- hours used during the billing period and shall consist of the sum of (1) an amount equal to -the fuel cost ad- justment of the supplier e-stiiciated by the District for the billing period, and (2) an amount equal to previous under-recovered or over-recovered fuel costs (Ordinance No. 7702) The fuel charge as of the date of the pass age of this Ordinance is 1.411. 4. An energy surcharge shall continue to be added to each bill as required by California law. 5. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days from the date of adoption. The Clerk of the District shall immediately cause a copy of this Ordinance to be pub- lished once in the locc-11 newspaper and copies shall be posted in at least three public pl ac el s, within the Dis- trict.
