HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1980-35 - Board RESOLUTION NO. 8035 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AUTHORIZING FILING OF TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT "PLACER C.S.A. #19 ANNEXATION" WITH PLACER/NEVADA COUNTY LAFCo WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has previously authorized the investigation of the feasibility of annexation of additional lands, and WHEREAS, the area located south of the existing District boundaries and descriptions attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", has been found feasible for annexation into the Truckee Donner Public Utility District; and WHEREAS, responses concerning attitude towards the annexing of C.S.A.#19 to the Truckee Donner Public Utility District were solicited by mail of all owners of property within C.S.A. #19; and WHEREAS owners of 550 of the property within C.S.A. #19 (238 lots total- ing 85. 2 Ac.) responded to the solicitation; and WHEREAS, 76% (by area) of the owners responding to the solicitation were in favor of said annexation; and WHEREAS, the District Engineer has made various recommendations respect- ing the conditions of annexation; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows.- That the staff of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District shall pre- pare all necessary documents for the proposed annexation which shall be titled Placer CSA #19 Annexation, That the conditions of the proposed annexation shall be as follows: 1. An inspection shall be conducted by members of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District staff May 1, 1980 at which time a specific de- ficiency list shall be prepared. (Anticipated deficiencies are those listed in the October 1978 tabulation together with any operation prob- lems that have arisen during the intervening period of time. ) 2. All items on the specific deficiency list shall be corrected at the sole cost of C.S.A. 190 3. C.S.A. 19 shall pay to Truckee Donner Public Utility District a set up charge of $25.00 for each active service at the time of an- nexation. 4. All accounts shall be current at the time of annexation. 5. Any and all pending service applications shall fully comply with the standards of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District. 6. Any and all pending developments shall be reviewed and be ap- proved by the Truckee Donner Public Utility District prior to con- struction start, Further, that the staff shall file said application for annexation with the LAFCo of Nevada/Placer Counties-, Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District duly called and held in said District on the 21 st day of April, 1980.
