OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
COMMENDING THE WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION
PROPOSED ALLOCATION PLAN OF JULY 21 19811 AND
FINDING IT TO BE EQUITABLE, FAIR AND RESPONSIVE
TO THE NEEDS OF CONCERNED ENTITIES
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District is a preference
agency established in 1927 and located in northern California; and
WHEREAS the Truckee Donner Public Ut ility District has a current
load of some 15,000 kilowatts serving over 5,000 customers, 4,000 of
which are residential consumers- and
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District's present system
serves an area with over 8,000 undeveloped residential building sites; and
WHEREAS, the Western Area Power Administration's allocation plan of-
fers the most equitable distribution of power to the most potential users,
and
WHEREAS, the Western Area Power Administration's plan offers coopera-
tion and assistance in the transmission and distribution of power allot-
ments to the various allottees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District as follows'.-6
1. That the Board, on this date, has detdrmined the Power
Marketing Plan prepared by the Western Area Power Ad-
ministration on June 2, 1981, to be commendable.
2. That the formulation of the proposed allocation plan set
forth in the June 2, 1981, Power Marketing Plan prepared
by the Western Area Power Administration is the most eq-
uitable, fair and responsive to the needs of all concern-
ed entities presented to the District up to this time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held
in the District on the ,r4?r,'�(,day of 1981, by the f ollowing
roll call vote:
