HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1981-43 - Board RESOLUTION NO 814a;'' OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT FINDING THAT THE PONDEROSA RANCHOS ANNEXATION WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the staff of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed Ponderosa Ranchos Annexation in accordance with the District Guidelines implementing the CEQA of 1970; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors in open session discussed the staff assessment and invited public comment; and WHEREAS, each Director has personal knowledge of the Truckee area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposed Ponderosa Ranchos Annexation is hereby found not to create a significant environmental impact, specifically in the following areas: 1. It Will not have the potential to degrade the quality of the environment or curtail the range of the environment; 2. It will not achieve short term, to the disadvantage of long term, environmental goals; 3. It will have no impact which is individually limited, but cumulatively considerable; 4. It will not cause substantial adverse effects on human beings, either directly or indirectly. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Negative Declaration be prepared and filed with the Placer County Clerk at the earliest opportunity,, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District this ZAz-e- day of 1981, by the follow- ing roll call vote, AYES: NOES: ABSENT: TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT 1 V' Roberta C.
