Home My WebLink AboutRES 1981-16 - Board RESOLUTION NO. 81/4/o OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the Manager of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has determined the need to purchase various items of equipment for the District's electrical distribution system during the remainder of the cal- endar year of 1981; and WHEREAS., specifications for said equipment items are given in Ex- hibit "A" attached hereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District does hereby approve the specifica- tions described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District is hereby directed to issue a call for bids based on the specifications as described in Exhibit "A" for the annual supply of distribution equipment, and that the date and time established for the bid opening is Mlyee- 1981, at 4:Ott P.M. The successful bidders will be issued blanket purchase orders for an approximate number of items. Authorization to ship against this blanket purchase order will be issued from time to time. Equipment other than that indicated in- the call for bids also may be ordered periodically. The District does not guarantee that they will purchase the number of items indicated; it will , however, purchase all items required from the suppliers selected unless a supplier cannot meet the District's needs.
