WHEREAS, staff has determined that certain vehicles are no longer required
for any purpose by the District,,-
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the District
as follows:
1. That the vehicles described in the attachment hereto are surplus and the
General Manager of the District is hereby authorized to advertise and sell
the vehicles in "as is" condition in accordance with District Code Section
8.20.010.
2. Sealed bids will be accepted up to the hour of 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April
8, 1998, at which time they will be publicly opened. Bids must be signed and
placed in a sealed envelope marked "Surplus Vehicles," and accompanied
by a deposit for 10% of the bid amount and a signed hold harmless
agreement.
3. The selected bidder will be required to pay for and remove the vehicle within
15 days of being noticed of the award.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called
and held within the District on the fourth day of March 1998 by the following roll
call vote:
AYES: Aguera, Hemig, Jones, Sutton and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSENT.• None.
