OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
TO'TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
APN 80-270-08
WHEREAS, the property owners of APN 80-270-08 have requested the District to
initiate the annexation process; and
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District desires to initiate proceedings
pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,
commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code, for the
annexation of Placer County Assessor's Parcel No. 80-270-08 into the District's water
service area;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the District as
follows:
-- 1. Application and proposal are hereby made to the Placer County Local Agency
Formation Commission for the annexation of certain uninhabited terrâ–ºtory to
the Truckee Donner Public Utility District. The exterior boundaries of such
territory are described in the legal description attached hereto and by
reference made a part hereof.
2. It is desired that the proposed annexation provide for and be made subject to
the following terms and conditions: the developer must enter into a
development agreement with the Truckee Donner Public Utility District
outlining terms and conditions necessary for the provision of service.
3. The reason for this proposal is to provide water service to the above-described
territory.
4. The following are the affected counties, cities and districts: the County of
Placer, County of Nevada, Town of Truckee, Truckee Fire Protection District,
Truckee Sanitary District, Tahoe Truckee Sanitation Agency, Truckee Tahoe
Airport District, Tahoe Truckee Unified School District and the Tahoe Forest
Hospital District.
5. Truckee Donner Public Utility-District staff is hereby authorized and directed
to file a certified copy of this resolution with the Executive Officer of the
County of Placer Local Agency Formation Commission.

within the District on the first day of July 1998 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Aguera, Jones, Sutton and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSENT.- Hemig.
