OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AMENDING THE DISTRICT'S ELECTRIC
CONNECTION AND FACILITIES FEES SCHEDULE
WHEREAS the District provides electric service to residential and commercial customers within
its service territory; and
WHEREAS the District installs overhead or underground electric service lines to residential
structures when application is made; and
WHEREAS it is a long-standing policy of the District to charge a connection fee that covers the
full cost of installing the service; and
WHEREAS the district has adopted a policy requiring the installation of underground electric
services in specific circumstances because of the economic and aesthetic benefits for the
community; and
WHEREAS the District wishes to price its electric connection fee to promote the installation of
underground services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
utility District as follows:
1. That effective with the effective date of this ordinance, all portions of prior ordinances and/or
resolutions that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed insofar
as they are inconsistent.
2. That the electric connection and facilities fees schedule be amended as set forth in the attached
exhibit.
3. If no protest is made pursuant to Public Utilities Code Section 16078, then this ordinance shall
be effective as of the date it was adopted by the Board of Directors and the fee adjustment shall
be effective 30 days from the date of adoption.
4. That the Clerk of the District shall immediately cause a copy of this ordinance to be published
in a newspaper of general circulation and posted in three places within the District
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called and held within the
District on the second day of June 1999 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Hemig, Maass, Sutton and Jones.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Aguera.

ELECTRIC CONNECTION AND FACILITIES FEES
Applicability
The charges hereunder are applicable to all applicants for service at locations not
previously served by the District or where the serving capacity of an existing service is
increased to greater than that previously served by the District. The initial charge for service
to applicants under the District's electric tariff shall consist of a connection fee and, if
applicable, a facilities fee as appears following:
