HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1999-03 - Board RESOLUTION NO. 9903 OF THE TRUCIEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ISSUING A'CALL FORBIDS. FOR A LINE TRUCK TO REPLACE UNIT 97 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has determined the need to replace Unit 17, a 1985 double bucket truck used by the District's line crew,and WHEREAS, the estimated cost to replace Unit 17 is$155,000, with a delivery date of at least nine months from the date of order, and WHEREAS, ordering the truck now would not impact the 1999 budget since the District would most likely finance the truck for seven or ten years, with the first payment not due until 2000, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District does hereby authorize the President to issue a call for bids based on the specifications prepared by staff and on file in the District office, and that the date and time established for the bid opening is Wednesday, March 31, 1999 at 2.00 PM. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called and held within the District on the 17—r-dayof March 1999 by the following roll call vote: AYES.
