HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2002-17 - Board DistrictPublic Utility Resolution No. 2002-17 Adopting a District Safety Manual WHEREAS the District employees persons who work in a variety of environments, some of which pose unique hazards to said employees; and WHEREAS the District is committed to insuring the wellbeing of its employees to the greatest extend practicable; and WHEREAS the District management has met with employees of the District to gather suggestions and input regarding safety issues and practices in the workplace; and WHEREAS a safety manual has been prepared containing a statement of District policy, and various safety procedures and practices to govern workplace safety; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors adopts the above recitals as its findings; and the Safety Manual dated April 2002 is hereby adopted PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called and held with the District on the 1 st day of May, 2002 by the following roll call vote: AYES: Hemig, Maass, Sutton and Van Gundy NOES: None ABSENT: Aguera TRUCK O ER ZLI=YTRICT By Nelson Van Gundy, President IV ATTEST: Y� " Peter L.
