TRUCKEE DONNER
Resolution No. 2002- 34
Commendations and Support for the Management / Professional Team
of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District
WHEREAS the Truckee Donner Public Utility District is a customer owned public utility
organized as a Special District under the laws of the state of California, and
WHEREAS the Truckee Donner Public Utility District, established in 1927, provides electric and
water utility services to the community of Truckee, and
WHEREAS the laws of the state of California require the Truckee Donner Public Utility District to
have an elected board of directors, and
WHEREAS the elected board of directors have hired and work with a general manager who
oversees the district's operation, and
WHEREAS the current general manager has demonstrated exemplary managerial skills
coordinating his management and professional team with the staff efforts to provide quality
service to this community, and
WHEREAS the employees of the district have demonstrated loyalty to the district through their
dedication and hard work, and
WHEREAS the management and professional team, led by the general manager, has proven
time and again their expertise and skills to be invaluable to the district, now therefore be it
RESOLVED that the board of directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District hereby
commend and offer its sincerely appreciation and support to the management and professional
team for all its hard work and accomplishments, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the board of directors hereby specifically recognizes each team
member, individually, and thanks each of them for their knowledge, skills, work ethic, and
dedication to this district.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called and held within the
District on the Twentieth day of November, 2002 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors Hemig, Maass, Sutton and Van Gundy
NOES: None
ABSENT: Director Aguera
