TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
NOTICE OF SPECIAL DISTRICT ELECTION AND
SPECIFICATION OF ELECTION ORDER
PLACER COUNTY-
WHEREAS, a special district election is to be held within the Truckee Donner Public Utility District
on November 5, 1996 at which there will be three offices to be voted upon to elect Directors to
four year terms, and
WHEREAS, this election is to fill vacancies for the following Directors whose terms expire as
shown below.

Joseph R. Aguera 1996 Full
Robert A. Jones 1996 Full
James A. Maass 1996 Full
WHEREAS, Directors for this District Board are elected at large; candidates qualify District-wide
and are elected by all voters within this District; and
WHEREAS, the District hereby certifies that there have been no District boundary changes since
its last election and a current set of boundary maps is on file with the County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the District as follows:
1. That the County Clerk is requested to provide election services.
2. That the District agrees to reimburse the County for the District's prorated share of the costs of the
election.
\ 3. That in the case of a tie vote, the election shall be determined by lot.
\ 4. if one is to be published, that the candidate pay for the publication of the candidate's statement
pursuant to Elections Code Section 10012. The limitation on the number of words that a candidate may
use in his/her Candidate's Statement is 200 words.
PAS, SED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called and held within the
District on the first day of May 1996 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Aguera, Jones, Maass, Sutton and Hemig.
NOES: None.
ABSENT. None.
