HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1986-06 - Board a, r ORDINANCE NO. 8606 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ESTABLISHING WATER RATES BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: Effective with the effective date of this Ordinance , all portions of prior ordinances and/or resolutions that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the Domestic Water Rates for single family homes , individual condominium units , and townhouse units shall relate to the pressure zone in which said service is located. The Domestic Flat Rate Base for all zones shall be the fixed monthly rate of $14.41 . The appropriate zonal pumping costs shall be added to the base monthly rate yielding the appropriate flat zonal rates as follows: Zone 1 $16.01 Zone 2 17.41 Zone.3 18.07 Zone 4 18.82 Zone 5 19.19 Zone 6 19.53 Zone 7 21.15 Zone 8 22.11 Zone 9 22.47 Zone 10 24.74 Zone 11 26.88 BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the following Commercial Rates sliall apply to all duplex and other multiple dwelling units, trailer parks , and other commercial establishments: Gallons/Month Size Service Rate Allowance 3/4" $12.78 6,000 1" 16.43 11 ,000 1 1/4" 20.98 17 ,000 1 1/2" 25.72 24,000 2" 37.87 43,000 3" 67.88 96 ,000 4" 100.20 171 ,000 Water used in any month above the allowance will be charged as follows: 0 to 16 ,000 gallons $ .90/thousand 16,000 - 56,000 gallons .73/thousand 56,000 - 96,000 gallons .55/thousand 96 ,000 and above .46/thousand r The following Zone Charge per 1 ,000 gallons shall be added for all water used: 1 $ .183 2 .335 3 .419 4 .503 5 .544 6 .587 7 .773 8 .880 9 .923 10 1 .176 11 1.424 Until meters are installed, the Commercial Flat Rate shall be based on the foregoing allowance , and the Zone Charge shall be levied against the maximum number of gallons in said allowance. This ordinance shall become effective with the billing cycle commencing in January 1987. The Clerk of the District shall, immediately cause a copy of this ordinance to be published in a newspaper of general circulation and posted in three places within the District. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of. the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a meeting thereof duly called and held in the District on the 1st day of December 1986 by the following roll call vote: AYES: Corbett , Hamilton and Maass.
