OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
CITING SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
RELTING TO WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
KNOWN AS THE DRANEY LOOP
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District determined the
necessity to upgrade and accept into its water system the privately owned
water line known as the Draney Loop and also sometimes called the Vind
and/or Kamienski line; and
WHEREAS, the District was at fault by completing construction of the water
line prior to finalizing the Farmers Home Administration loan/grant process
thus forfeiting monies that may have been available through the FmHA; and
WHEREAS , District files and minutes of the Board have been researched and
neither indicate that the property owners were to be charged for upgrading
the line:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District that payback from property owners for
construction of the Draney Loop is to be forgiven. Be it further resolved
that standard District fees do apply.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District at a regular meeting duly called and held within the
District on the 17th of November, 1986 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Cooley, Corbett and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: Sutton.
ABSENT: Hamilton.
