OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
DECLARING RESIDENTIAL PARCEL UNNECESSARY
FOR DISTRICT USE AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District is the owner of the
parcel of unimproved real property described as a portion of Meadow Lake
Park, Assessor's Parcel No. 18-591-06, located on Meadow Way 100 feet north
of Rocky Lane (sometimes known as 10212 Meadow Way) ; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors believes that said parcel is unnecessary
for District use and that it would be in the best interest of the District
to sell the same; and
WHEREAS , public entities listed in Section 54222 of the California
Government Code have been notified of the District's intent to dispose of
said property, have been offered the same at fair market value and have
declined such offer; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors oc the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District as follows:
1. That the Board of Directors does hereby declare said parcel of real
property to be tnnecessary for District use.
2. That the Manager be authorized and directed to publish invitations for
bids and that the date and time established for the bid opening is
Thursday, December 11 , 1986. The Board will not be bound to accept any bid
which it determines to be below fair market value. In accordance with the
October 15 , 1986 appraisal from Hugh R. McBride , I.F.A. , the fair market
value of AP#18-591-06 is $6 ,000.
3. Such property will be transferred by quitclaim deed with the purchaser
paying all transfer costs , escrow fees, insurance and related costs. The
District makes no warranty of title.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District- at: a meeting held within said District on the 17th day of
November 1986, by the following roll call vote.
AYES: Cooley , Corbett, Sutton and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Hamilton.
